About GreenerPulse

A small blog about living lighter at home.

GreenerPulse is an independent blog about practical sustainable living. We focus on what actually moves the needle at home — water, energy, materials, and waste — and write guides you’d genuinely use.

No preaching, no perfection required. Just clear, well-researched steps toward a home that wastes less and works better.

How we work

Four rules behind every guide.

  1. Useful first

If a guide doesn’t end with something you can actually do, it doesn’t ship. Checklists, label decoders, buying steps — not vibes.

  2. No greenwashing

If a material or product has a dirty supply chain, we say so. Most “bamboo” fabric, for example, is rayon made with harsh chemicals — our bamboo fabric deep dive lays out what’s really going on.

  3. Labels, not slogans

We explain what certifications and terms actually mean, so you can read a label and decide for yourself instead of trusting the packaging.

  4. Corrections welcome

Sustainability science moves. If something here is wrong or outdated, tell us — we’ll fix it and note the change.

Our mission & values

A small mission, held tightly.

Our mission is simple: make sustainable living practical, affordable, and actually doable in everyday life. We break the myth that eco-living has to be expensive or all-or-nothing — most of the wins are small, cheap, and boring in the best way.

Practical Sustainability

Real-world solutions that respect your budget and your actual life.

No Guilt, Just Growth

Progress over perfection. Small changes count, and they add up.

Accessibility for Everyone

Plain language and free guides. No gatekeeping, no jargon walls.

Science-Backed

Researched and cited, so you can check the claims yourself.

Portrait of Sahir Ali

The people behind it

Hi, I’m Sahir Ali.

I started GreenerPulse because I wanted to live greener and felt lost in the noise — endless rules, conflicting advice, and products that promised to save the planet but were mostly marketing. So I started researching things properly and writing down what I found.

It’s a small team — Sahir and Hiba — and we like it that way. Everything here is written to be genuinely useful — no sponsored fluff, no filler. When I’m not writing, I’m usually testing the advice myself: low-flow fixtures, compost bins, and a wardrobe that keeps shrinking.
